Fun Things for the Family to do in Boston
I've had the pleasure of visiting Boston, Massachusetts a multitude of times, but only recently have I gone with my daughter. Having her along for the trip caused me to choose some different places to visit. Here are just a few of the places my toddler and I enjoyed together. The Tadpole Playground and Frog Pond in the Boston Commons offers a fun-filled time for free. While you're in the area, check out the historic landmarks in and around the commons as part of the Freedom Trail.
Another day of fun came from the Museum of Science, Boston. I was afraid there wouldn't be enough at the museum for a toddler to find amusing, but I was wrong. We spent several hours exploring the exhibits, and Pooky still didn't want to leave.
The Butterfly Garden was one of her favorite exhibits. I think it was well worth the extra fee.
Another of her favorite exhibits was The Light House where she had a ton of fun exploring her shadow and the spectrum of light.
She insisted we return to this exhibit multiple times during our visit to the museum.
Another museum we visited while in Boston, was the Boston Children's Museum.
This museum is filled with fun forms of learning for kids of all ages.
